All protective equipment must be fitted before operating the machine.
Only use sharp, crack free and non-deformed blades.
The splitting wedge is an important protective tool that guides the workpiece and prevents the cut
from pinching behind the saw blade and from throwing back the workpiece. Note the width of the
knife, see the numbers stamped on the splitting wedge. The splitting wedge must not be thinner
than the saw blade’s body or thicker than its teeth.
Lower the protective hood during each stage of the process. The protective cover must be vertical
over the saw blade during each stage of the process. Always use the pusher, when length sawing
thin pieces - less than 120 mm. The pusher must be used to prevent working with your hands near
the saw blade.
Stop the machine to repair faults or to remove jammed pieces of wood. Disconnect from the power!
Replace the work table insert if the saw fork is worn. Disconnect from the power!
Only perform reassembly, adjustments, measurements and cleaning when the motor is switched
off. Disconnect from the mains power supply.
The machine must be connected to an extractor with a flexible, flame retardant suction hose before
being started.
The extractor must start automatically when the saw is turned on.
Switch off the motor when you leave the workplace. Disconnect from the mains power supply.
Disconnect the machine from the mains power supply even when you move it a little. Reconnect
the machine to the mains power before starting.
Installation, repair and maintenance work on electrical installations must only be performed by
authorised repairmen.
All protective and safety equipment must be refitted after repair and maintenance works has been
completed.
Do not expose power tools to rain.
Do not use power tools in damp or wet surroundings.
Make sure the work area is well lit.
Do not use power tools where there is a risk of fire or explosion.
Avoid body contact with earthed components (e.g. pipes, radiators, electric stoves, refrigeration
units).
Unused power tools should be stored in a dry, high and enclosed area out of the reach of children.
Never use the power cord to remove the plug from the wall socket. Protect the power cord from
heat, oil and sharp edges.
Use clamps or a bench screw to secure the workpiece.
Keep the handles clean, dry and free from oil and grease.
Make sure the power switch is set to off before connecting the power supply to the wall socket.
Only use appropriate extension cords.
Do not use power tools that cannot be switched on and off using the power switch.
Only use saw blades whose maximum permitted speed is not lower than the maximum rotational
speed of the saw and the material to be cut.
When moving the machine, only use the transport unit. Never use protective equipment when
handling or for transport.
The upper part of the saw blade should be embraced by e.g. safety equipment when moving the
machine.
Intended use
The machine complies with the current machinery directive.
The saw is defined as a portable machine.
The machine has a work surface in front of the machine and to the left of the saw blade.
The workplace and the machine's surroundings must be kept free from disturbing objects in order
to prevent accidents. The workpiece to be treated must be free of foreign materials such as nails or
screws. The machine must be connected to an extractor with a flexible, flame retardant suction
hose before being started. The extractor must start automatically when the saw is turned on. The
air velocity at the suction nozzle should be 20 m/s.
The saw table is only designed for processing wood or wood based material. Only original tools
and accessories may be used. Use the type of saw blade required depending on the type of cut
and wood (solid wood, plywood, etc.). Only use the machine in the intended manner as set out in
the technically acceptable conditions, with the User instructions and with safety and risk issues in
mind!
