Cutting wide workpieces
When the workpiece to be cut is greater than 120
mm wide.
Adjust the parallel fence according to the width of
the workpiece. Make sure your hands do not come
close to the saw blade. If narrow pieces are to be
cut, only move the workpiece forwards in the tool
area with your right hand or with the help of a
pusher.
NOTE
The upper saw blade guard is only given in the pictures or is excluded in individual cases to clearly
show the process stage or equipment. The upper saw blade guard is required for all depicted process
steps.
Cutting narrow workpieces
When the workpiece to be cut is less than 120 mm.
Adjust the parallel fence according to the width of
the workpiece. Make sure your hands do not come
close to the saw blade. Move the workpiece
forwards with both hands, use the pusher and slide
the workpiece forwards until it passes the knife.
Use the pusher from the beginning.
Cutting edges and strips
Fit the parallel fence with a low contact area or use
an extra fence. Move the workpiece forwards with
pusher until the workpiece passes the splitting
wedge. A table extension must be fitted if you need
to saw long workpieces.
NOTE
Units to be connected with parts of the
machine must be fastened with screws.
Cross cutting narrow workpieces
Move the workpieces with the spacer stop. Do not
use your hands to remove the cut pieces when the
