The supplied charger and battery pack are intended to work together. Do not attempt to charge the
battery pack with any charger other than the one supplied.
Pull the plug to disconnect the power cord from the mains outlet. Do not pull the power cord.
Do not use the charger if it has been subjected to powerful impacts, has fallen or is damaged in
some other way. Get an approved service centre to check and/or repair the charger.
Do not dismantle the charger. Get an approved service centre to check and/or repair the charger, if
required. Incorrect assembly can pose a risk of fire or electric shock.
Always disconnect the charger power cord from the mains outlet before cleaning to avoid the risk of
electric shock. It is not sufficient to just remove the battery.
Further safety regulations for battery packs
The battery pack for this power tool is supplied with low charge. The battery pack must be charged
fully before being used.
Never incinerate worn-out battery packs
– they can explode!
A small amount of fluid can leak out of the battery pack during extreme usage or in extreme
temperatures. This does not necessarily mean that the battery pack is defective. Wash immediately
with soap and water if the outer casing leaks and the fluid comes into contact with your skin. If the
leaking fluid comes into contact with your eyes, you must immediately rinse them with clean water
for at least 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Notify the medical personnel that the fluid is a
sodium hydroxide solution 25
–35%.
Never attempt to open the battery pack under any circumstances. Never use a battery pack if the
casing has been opened or has cracked. Do not attempt to charge the battery pack.
Do not store or transport spare batteries in your pocket, a toolbox or similar, where they can come
into contact with metal objects. The battery pack can be short-circuited. This can damage the
battery pack or cause burns or fire.
WARNING!
Certain types of dust created during sanding, sawing, drilling and other similar work contain chemicals
that have been shown to be carcinogenic, harmful to the foetus or cause fertility problems. Examples of
such chemicals are:
-
lead from lead-based paint
-
cement and other masonry products
-
chemically treated timber.
The level of risk depends on how often you work with such materials and what kind of work you are
doing. The following measures reduce the risk.
Work in a well ventilated area.
Work with protective equipment and a mask intended for the task.

Always wear ear protection!
The declared vibration value, which has been measured by a standardised test method, can be used to
compare different tools with each other and for a preliminary assessment of exposure.
WARNING!
The actual vibration level when using power tools may differ from the specified maximum value,
depending on how the tool is used. It is therefore necessary to determine which safety precautions are
required to protect the user, based on an estimate of exposure in actual operating conditions (taking into
account all stages of the work cycle, e.g. the time when the tool is switched off and when it is idling, in
addition to the start-up time).
