USING THE DEPTH STOP
The depth stop screw is used to set the required
depth if the cut is not going to go through the
workpiece all the way.
WARNING!
Adjust only the front screw. The screw behind
prevents the blade from going against the saw
table when sawing as normal. Do not adjust
the depth adjuster screw behind.
1. Release the lock pin for the saw head.
2. Bring up the saw head.
3. Move the depth stop (3) to the left to
apply the depth stop screw (1).
4. Bring down the saw head to check the
setting.
5. To change the setting, first release the
depth stop nut with the finger grip on the
depth stop screw.
Turn the depth stop screw (1) clockwise to
reduce the depth and anticlockwise to increase
the depth. Tighten the depth stop nut (2) after
adjusting.
6. If necessary push the depth stop (3) to the
right so that it is not applied.

SAWING
1. Release the lock pin for the saw head.
2. Check that all the knobs are tightened (for
the mitre angle, bevel angle and table
extensions).
3. Remove any sawdust and other debris
from the fence. Place the workpiece
against the fence.
4. Align the saw line marking on the
workpiece to the blade.
NOTE:
To avoid cutting the workpiece too short,
align the edge of the blade to the saw line
1. Release the adjuster knob for the
mitre angle by turning it a 1/4 turn
anticlockwise.
2. Press down the mitre lock to release the
saw table. Keep the mitre lock pressed in
and move the saw table to the required
angle.
3. Read off the angle on the mitre angle
scale. When the mitre lock releases,
lock the table at one of the mitre angles
22.5°, 30°, 45° or 90° to the left or
right.
4. Tighten the adjuster knob for the mitre
angle when the required mitre angle has
been set.
5. Put the workpiece against the fence and
lock it in place with the clamp to saw it.
ADJUSTING THE BEVEL ANGLE
The cut is angled in the vertical plane for bevel
sawing. Bevel sawing can be used for mitre
sawing of wide and thin workpieces. Bevel
sawing and mitre sawing at the same time
is called combination sawing. Combination
sawing is used for crown mouldings and picture
frames, etc.
1. Release the lock knob for the bevel angle
on the back of the product.
2. Adjust the blade to the required angle.
Read off the angle on the bevel angle
scale.
3. Lock the blade by turning the lock knob
for the bevel angle clockwise. Screw tight,
but do not overtighten.
4. Saw a spare piece to test that the bevel
angle is correct.
Correct the bevel angle before sawing if
necessary.
