rotating parts, especially when starting the
motor.
• Never use spare parts or accessories that
are not recommended by the manufacturer.
Always make sure that the ventilation
openings are free from debris. Avoid
accidental starting by never carrying the
power tool with your finger on the power
switch.
• Always work with a safe and stable posture.
Use and care
• Do not force the power tool. Use the correct
power tool for the planned job. With the
correct power tool you will work better and
more safely within the specified
performance range.
• Do not use the tool if it cannot be started
and stopped with the power switch.
A power tool that cannot be switched on or
off with the power switch is dangerous and
must be repaired.
• Unplug the power cord and/or remove the
battery before making any adjustments,
changing accessories or putting the power
tool away. This precaution prevents
accidently starting the power tool.
• Store power tools out of the reach of
children when not in use. Never allow
children, or anyone who is unfamiliar with
the power tool and these instructions, to
use the tool. Power tools are dangerous if
used by inexperienced persons.
• Keep the power tool properly maintained.
Check that moving parts are properly
adjusted and do not jam, and that no parts
are incorrectly fitted or damaged. Check for
other factors that could affect functionality.
If the power tool is damaged, it must be
repaired before being used again. Many
accidents are caused by poorly maintained
power tools.
• Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.
Carefully maintained cutting tools with
sharp blades jam less often and are easier
to control.
• Use the power tool, accessories, etc. in
accordance with these instructions. Pay
attention to the actual working conditions
and the job to be done. Using power tools
for purposes they are not intended to be
used for can result in dangerous situations.
• Familiarise yourself with how the tool
should be used.
• This tool must not be used by children or
other persons who are not familiar with it.
• Keep children and pets away from the work
area and stop working immediately if
children or pets suddenly enter the work
area. Make sure that children and animals
do not come within five metres of the
power tool.
• If a new stretch is to be worked always hold
the power tool in the normal working
position before starting it.
• Keep your arms and legs at a safe distance
from the power tool, especially when
starting the motor.
Battery and charger
• Charge the batteries only with the charger
recommended by the manufacturer.
• A charger intended for a specific type of
battery could be a fire hazard if used with
other types of batteries.
• Only use power tools with the specified
batteries.
• The use of other batteries can result in the
risk of personal injury and fire.
• When the battery is not in use keep it away
from metal objects like paperclips, coins,
keys, nails, screws and other metal objects
that can short circuit the terminals. A short
circuit between the battery terminals can
result in burn injuries or fire.
• Incorrect use can cause liquid to leak from
the battery. Avoid contact with battery fluid.
Rinse with water after temporary contact.
Seek medical attention if you splash your
eyes. Leaking battery fluid can cause skin
irritation or burn injuries.
