Always be careful when using the equipment. Use your common sense.
Never use power tools if you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
Check for damaged parts.
Before using the power tool, make sure it is not damaged and that it operates correctly and in the
intended manner.
Make sure that moving parts are properly adjusted and do not jam and that no parts are incorrectly
fitted or damaged. Check for other factors that could affect the operation of the power tool.
Defective switches or other parts that are damaged must be repaired or replaced by an authorised
service centre. Do not use the tool if it cannot be switched on and off using the power switch.

The user is responsible for any damage or injury caused to property and/or persons.
Repairs must only be carried out by qualified personnel.
Unless otherwise indicated in these instructions, we recommend that all repairs and/or replacement
of any damaged part is carried out by an authorised service centre.
This power tool has been manufactured in compliance with current safety standards and
requirements. Repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel using identical spare parts.
Improper repairs may pose a risk of injury/death or damage to property.
The instructions and safety instructions do not cover all the situations that might arise.
Remember to use all necessary safety precautions and common sense when working with power
tools.
Special safety instructions
Acquaint yourself with the tool's controls and use.
This tool must not be used by children.
The tool may only be used by adults who have read through these instructions. The tool is not
intended to be used by persons (children or adults) with any form of functional disorder or by
persons who do not have sufficient experience or know-how on how to use it, in so far as they have
not received instructions concerning the use of the tool from someone who is responsible for their
safety.
Only use accessories with a maximum rated speed that is at least as high as the no-load speed of
the tool.
Do not use the tool if it is damaged, eccentric or vibrating.
Hold the tool firmly to avoid kickback.
Never seize the chuck or bit during operation.
Always stop the tool and wait for the chuck to stop rotating before putting the tool down.
A damaged cord must be replaced by an authorised service centre or qualified person to ensure
safe use.
Pull the plug out from the mains supply immediately if the power cord or extension cord gets
damaged while you are working. Do not touch the cord until it has been unplugged from the mains.
Never try to change the position of the selector while the motor is running. This can damage the
tool.
Hold the power tool by the insulated grips when working in areas where the tool may come into
contact with concealed electrical cables or its own power cord.
In the event of contact with a live cable, the metal parts of the tool will also become conductive and
the user will receive an electric shock.
The tool should be fitted with a safety guard that prevents contact with moving parts.
Remaining risks. Even if the tool is used in accordance with the instructions it is impossible to rule
out all risk factors.
The following are potential risks that may be incurred as a result of the type and design of the tool.

Damage to lungs (if effective dust mask is not worn).

Vibration injuries (if the tool is used for long periods, or is not handled and maintained
