Attach the clean cuff to the left wrist which is free from
clothing with the palm of the hand facing upwards.

There should be a gap of approx. 1 cm between the
cuff and the palm of the hand.

Press the Velcro tape firmly around the wrist ensuring
that it is not so tight that it could falsify the measured result.

•

Carry out the measurement whilst seated.

• Relax your arm and place it comfortably, on a table for instance.
• Raise the wrist so that the cuff of the monitor is at heart level

(position

= too high,

= correct,

= too low).

• Keep still during the measurement: not move and do not

talk as this may alter the measurements.
