Place the scales on a hard, level base. This ensures accurate measuring
results and is the requirement for safe weighing without risk of injury.
1.
If you have moved the scales, this may cause the display to be activated.
If anything other than “
0.0 kg
“ is displayed, wait approx. 30 seconds
until the scales switch off automatically.

Switch the scales on by briefly tapping the standing area
with a foot.

“

” will appear briefly on the display
followed by “
0.0 kg
”. The
personal scales are ready to measure. Do not step onto the scales before
“
0.0 kg
“ is displayed!
4.
Stand on the scales and remain still. The display moves while your weight
is being calculated. When the measurement has stabilised, the display
stands still. Your measured body weight, e.g.
65.1
(65 kg 100 g), will be
displayed for several seconds. The scales then switch off automatically.
Step down from the scales.
NOTE
The scales will switch off automatically to save batteries if
you do not step onto the scales within 10 seconds.
The measuring unit of the
MEDISANA
personal scales
PSL
may be changed
over. Turn the scales over and select the desired measuring unit KG, LB or
ST using the black changeover switch
.
The following error messages may appear in the display:
Lo
Replace the battery.
Err
The scale is overloaded.
If your personal scales do not function to your satisfaction, check the
following before contacting a service centre.
• Check whether the batteries have been inserted correctly.
• Check whether the correct unit of weight has been selected.
• Check whether the scales are freestanding on a solid and even surface.
They must not be touching a wall or any other object.
• Weigh yourself again and make sure that you only step on the scales
when “
0.0 kg
“ has appeared in the display.
