DVD mode
PROGRAM (playback sequence)
The programming function allows you to play up to 20 chapters (DVD) or tracks (audio) in a sequence defi ned by
you.
Programming is not possible with MP3 media.
You program the sequence as follows:

. A table showing the available programme positions appears on the
screen. The number of titles appears in the table header.
Use the number buttons on the remote control to enter the desired title (

) for programme position

case of single-digit numbers, please enter a preceding

For DVDs, you can now likewise enter the desired chapter (

).

Enter additional programme positions in the same way.
Start list
As soon as the fi rst programme position has been entered, “Start” appears at the bottom of the menu.
Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to “Start” and press
OK

. The programmed list starts to play. You can
use the red button

to call up the list again.

A-B ( Repeat A-B)
Repeat A-B allows you to defi ne and repeat the start and end of a desired scene:

once again to defi ne the end point B. “

” is displayed on the screen. The section
between points A and B is now repeated in a loop.

button a third time to disable the Repeat AB function.
LANG (audio setting (language))
Press

repeatedly to select a different audio setting that is available on the DVD (for example, 2-chan-
nel sound or 5.1-channel sound) or the spoken language. The setting is applied immediately and does not
need to be confi rmed.
Please note that this function is not implemented on some DVDs.
Calling up DVD menus
To call up the menus stored on the DVD, you use the
TITLE

D.MENU
buttons

In general, the
D.MENU
button calls up the main menu, while the
TITLE
button calls up the title menu. You navi-
gate through the items in the DVD menus using the arrow keys. Confi rm each selection by pressing
OK
.
Please note that the precise functions available in each menu depend on the DVD.
