12. Troubleshooting
The product left our warehouse in perfect condition. If you do encounter a
problem, however, please consult the table below to see if you can solve the
problem. If the problem persists, please contact our customer service de-
partment.
Problem Possible cause Remedy
The appliance is not
working. The plug is not connect-
ed to the mains. Connect the appliance
to a properly installed

safety socket.
The overheating protec-
tion has been triggered. Contact the customer
service department.
The food is not cooked. The fondue container is
overfilled. Cut the food into small
pieces which cook more
evenly.
The cooking tempera-
ture is too low. Set the temperature con-
trol to the required tem-
perature.
The cooking time is too
short. Cook the food a little
longer.
The food is not cooked
evenly. The pieces of food are
too close to each other. Distribute the food even-
ly in the fondue con-
tainer.
Large amounts of smoke,
unpleasant odours or
taste The deep-frying fat has
gone off. Changing the frying oil
or fat.
The fat is not suitable for
deep-frying. Change the frying fat
and use suitable frying
fat.
