Macro mode
Use the MACRO mode for close-up pictures. In this mode, subjects which
are very close to the lens can be taken in sharp focus.
Turn the mode switch to the MACRO position

In MACRO mode the saturation, contrast and sharpness cannot
be set in the menu.
Portrait mode
Use the PORTRAIT mode for taking pictures of people, preferably as a
portrait. In this mode, focus and exposure are specially set on the subject
of a person in front of a background.
Turn the mode switch to the PORTRAIT position
