Playing back messages from a different telephone extension
You can play back the messages on your answering machine from an external
line, such as a mobile phone or a telephone booth.
Proceed as follows:

Dial the telephone number of your connection.

If your answering machine is switched on, press the asterisk key on the
telephone.
You will hear the announcement “
Please enter your PIN
”.
 Enter your remote enquiry PIN now with the keypad.
If you have new messages, you will hear the announcement “
You have X
new messages
” (“
X
” stands for the number). If you do not have any new
messages, you will hear the announcement “
You have no new messages
”.
To operate the answering machine, use the number keys on the telephone.
Key Function
1 Call up the acoustic main menu: The functions of the number
keys will be announced.
2 Play back all messages
4 Repeat message
5 Delete current message
6 Skip message and play back next message
7 Switch on answering machine
9 Switch off answering machine
