This function allows you to determine in which area you want to
measure light for the photos or video recordings.

Setting

Meaning

CENTRE

The light is measured over the entire image
but the measurement is weighted towards the
values near the centre.

MULTI

An exposure is selected on the basis of the
measurements at several places across the im-
age.

SPOT

An exposure is selected on the basis of one
single measurement in the centre of the pic-
ture.
