8.4.6. Exposure
By correcting the exposure value (EV) you can take pictures
which would otherwise be too dark or too light.
There are 13 settings to choose from between
+2.0 EV
and
-
2.0 EV
.
Use a positive value when light conditions are poor and a nega-
tive value in strong light.
Do not use the exposure correction when the subject is in a very
bright or very dark area or if you are using the flash. In that case,
use the automatic setting ("

").
8.4.7. Self-timer/operating mode
The delayed-action shutter release function allows you to take
individual pictures or to make a recording using the self-timer.
Setting Meaning
OFF
Single photographs are taken.
ON
A single photograph is taken using a 10-sec-
ond delayed-action shutter release function.
