9. Playing back music
You can use your Wi-Fi speaker to play music from the network, play music from a device
registered via Wi-Fi (direct mode) or play stereo signals from an externally connected device.
The following section describes the operating modes on the Wi-Fi speaker and the different
audio sources.
9.1. Establishing a direct Wi-Fi connection via MEDION
SPEAKER
If it is not possible to establish a network connection via WPS, use the MEDION SPEAKER
app on your smartphone or tablet to establish a connection with the Wi-Fi speaker.

Switch the Wi-Fi speaker on.

Open the Wi-Fi settings on your mobile device.

Select the suggested audio system “ MD43631-XXXX” and tap on connect.

Now press the “ Back- key ” on your smartphone.

Start the MEDION SPEAKER app.
The MEDION SPEAKER app now connects your mobile device to the Wi-Fi speaker.
As soon as the connection is operational, the app switches automatically to the source
directory.
As soon as the device setup and thus the Wi-Fi speaker’s connection to the Internet has been
successfully completed, the operating LED lights up permanently in white.
