7. Switching the speaker on and off
7.1. Switching on the speaker

Press and hold down the Standby button to turn on the speaker.
NOTE!
The Wi-Fi speaker will automatically connect to the previously set Wi-Fi network
after it has been switched on. This can take up to 1 minute. The Wi-Fi speaker cannot
be operated during this time!
7.2. Standby mode

Press and hold down the Standby button to switch the speaker into standby mode.
8. Using the device for the fi rst time
8.1. Installing the app on an Android/Apple smartphone/
tablet PC
In order to amend the settings for the Wi-Fi speaker, you first need to install the MEDION
SPEAKER app on your tablet PC/smartphone that is available via the Playstore (Android) or
AppStore (Apple).
