For example, if you have inserted DVD that is coded with au-
thorisation class 7 (NC 18) or 8 (ADULT) and you have selected
authorisation classes 1 to 6, a message appears and the viewer
must enter a password. Parts of a DVD – certain scenes, for ex-
ample – may also be encoded with an authorisation class or a
range of authorisation classes.
You have to enter the password to change the authorisation
class.
