PBC function (VCD 2.0 only)
Some type 2.0 VCDs that have a title/chapter structure offer the
option of playback control (PBC).
Use the
P B C
button to activate playback control. Additional
functions for controlling the title/chapter are available, such as
− Direct selection of tracks/chapters
− SKIP functions
PLEASE NOTE!
Please note that the specifi c functions available depend
on the VCD.
Locating tracks or pictures on MP3 and JPEG data me-
dia
The music titles on MP3 and JPEG data media may be organised
into folders just like on other data media.
Insert an MP3 or JPEG CD into the player. A menu showing the
top-level folders saved on the CD appears on the screen.
Provided that the data medium actually contains folders, they
will be listed on the left-hand side of the menu.
Titles are displayed with an MP3 symbol or image symbol.
The active folder or fi le is highlighted in orange.
The display also shows the total number of fi les on the CD, for
example
105 FILES

Use the
or
navigation buttons to access a folder and con-
fi rm your selection with
O K
.
The other sub-folders may also be opened if required. In this case
you can use the highest menu item (
) or the
button to re-
turn to the menu above.
To hear a track or view an image, select it and confi rm with
