14. Deleting and copying recordings
14.1. Copy a record or music cassette to a memory
medium
NOTICE!
In the following section, the process for copying a re-
cord is explained. The process for copying a music cas-
sette is the same.
You can copy a record or music cassette to a USB stick or SD memory card. The con-
tent of the record or music cassette is converted to MP3 format. The recording
speed is 1:1 (real-time).
An “AUDIO” directory is created on the recording medium in which the tracks are
saved in numerical order.

14.1.1. Bit rate
The recording format is pre-set to a bit rate of 128 kbps, sampling rate 44.1 kHz. The
bit rate can be changed for every recording. If you want to change the bit rate:


FUNCTION
button until the operating mode
TAPE
ap-
pears on the display.

Press the
INFO
button on the remote control. The current bit rate is shown on
the display.

Now use the
FOLDER

/

buttons to select one of the following bit rates:
32 / 64 / 96 / 128 / 192 or 256.

Press the
INFO
button again to complete the setting.
