section "Automatic search".
Manual code search
Carry out a manual search as follows:

Switch on the relevant device manually.

Briefly press the required source button (
STB
,
DVD
,
VCR
,
AUX
).

Keep the
CODE
button pressed for approx. three seconds until the blue LED stays
lit.

Repeatedly press the button (up to 350 times),
P+
or
P–
, until the device
which is meant to be controlled changes channel or responds appropriately.
The code search will begin at the four-digit number which is currently stored.

Briefly press
OK
to save the code.
Due to the considerable quantity of different code numbers, up to 350 different codes
are pre-programmed per device type. In individual cases it is possible that only the
most common main functions are available. The described method may not be
successful for certain models.
Automatic code search
If your device does not respond to the remote control even though you have tried all
of the codes listed for your device type and the relevant brand, then try using the
automatic search. This will enable you to find codes for brands that were not included
in the device code list.
If you would like to program the source buttons
STB, DVD, VCR
or
AUX
with a
different device than specified, then you will have to first program a code of the
desired device type during the automatic search. For example: You would like to use
the
AUX
button to control a DVD player. First program any code of a DVD player
from the list of codes before carrying out the following steps.

Switch on the relevant device manually.

Briefly press the required source button (
STB
,
DVD
,
VCR
,
AUX
).

Keep the
CODE
button pressed for approx. three seconds until the blue LED stays
lit.

Point the remote control at the device and briefly press the
P+
button once.
If the device has no program function, then press the button instead of
P+
.
The remote control will start the code search after six seconds and will transmit all
the codes consecutively at one-second intervals (cf. also next section). The blue
LED will light up for each transmission.

As soon as the device responds to the remote control, press
OK
. – If you didn’t
press
OK
on time, you can go back to the code to which the device responded
step by step by using the
P–
button.
To cancel the search, press
OK
.
