6.4. Fold the base of the XXL XPress

 Lift the cross brace as far as possible from the base (photo A). 

While keeping hold of the cross brace, fold the head-half of the base as shown in photo B. 
Put the cross brace  fastening clip in place with the head-half of the base.

 Stand the whole base up and put the head-half base in place by securing it with a clip.
