the storage area

Drain

the

into an approved gasoline container.

Loosen t

arburetor drain bolt and dra

gasoline in

o a suitable container by
the fuel
drain pipe.
c.
When
all the fuel
is
dra
i
ned
,
tum
the petcock to
the
OFF position
,
and tighten
the drain screw securely.
3.
Change
the engine oil
.
4.
Rem
ove the spa
r
k p
l
ug
a
nd
pour about a
tab
l
e- spoon
of clean engine oil
i
nt
o
t
he cy
linder
.
Crank the
engine seve
r
al
revolutions
to d
i
str
ibut
e the
oi
l
,
then
re
insta
ll
the
spark
plug
.

Reinstall the spa
rk
plug
cap
on the
spark plug.

Pu
ll
the
starter g
rip
slowly
unt

l resistance
is
felt
,
then
r

urn t

e starter
grip gently
.

the engine’s
combustion chamber
.
7.
For storage periods longer than 6 weeks, remove the battery and connect it to a battery storage type charger
. Follow directions on the charger for
proper use.
