The following options are available at the
outdoor unit to adjust the system to your
personal circumstances:
Volume Speaker
With the potentiometer (10) the speech volume
of the outdoor unit is adjusted. For full volume
turn the potentiometer carefully clockwise until
the stop and then turn it back a little bit. Turning
it anticlockwise reduces the volume.
Sensitivity CDS
The potentiometer (23) is used to adjust the
sensitivity of the brightness sensor. Turning it
clockwise switches the BL-LED on earlier (when it
is less dark), turning it anticlockwise switches the
BL-LED on later (when it is darker).
ID code
If several outdoor units are connected in parallel
(e.g. at the gate entrance and house), the ID
code is set via the DIP switches (7). This makes it
possible to activate the individual outdoor units
one after the other from an indoor unit, e.g. to
monitor the detection range of the corresponding
outdoor unit. Switching over is done at the
indoor unit with the "Monitor" key.
ID1 = switch 1 "on", switch 2 "on
ID2 = switch 1 "off", switch 2 "on
ID3 = switch 1 "on", switch 2 "off
Opening time of the door opener
The DIP switches (8) are used to set how long
the door opener is to be activated. The setting
options are either 1 second or 5 seconds. 5
seconds is the factory setting and works for most
standard door openers.
Switch 1 "off", switch 2 "on" corresponds to
opening time 1 second.
Switch 1 "on", switch 2 "off" corresponds to
opening time 5 seconds.
Integrated radio module
To code a receiver, put it in the learning mode as
indicated in its instructions. Then press the
ringing key to which you want the receiver to
respond. An individual signal is sent for each
family when the corresponding bell button is
pressed.
If there is an overlap with similar devices in the
neighbourhood, the coding can be changed. To
do this, press and hold the RFID button (24) for
about 10 seconds. Then all receivers must be re-
tuned.
RFID key (24)
This key is used to set the functions of the RFID
module. Refer to the manual of the RFID module
for details.
Startup
Once all the components have been fitted and
connected, switch on the operating voltage.
Depending on the type of installation, either plug
the mains adapter into a suitable socket or
switch on the circuit breaker that is connected to
the DIN rail power supply unit. Ring the external
unit once to initialise the system (if multiple
external units are installed, each external unit
must be rung once).
NOTE: Switch the operating voltage off again
before carrying out any work on the system!
Operation
Press the bell button.
