Troubleshooting
The sleeves of the
jacks are all
effectively
connected
together as they
are all attached
to the same metal
plate.
A single ground
connection could
be made, and
indeed this may
make diagnostics
easier.
If any pin # on the
PCB is connected
to the sleeve on
the plug, you will
be shorting that
one to ground
and no stepper
motor movement
will happen.
Everything will
seem to work, but
the stepper motors
won’t start
running.

at a time, and ensure it works as expected.
