REGLAS DEL BADMINTON
BADMINTON RULES
COURT SIZE:
The standard size badminton court is 20 feet wide and 44
feet long. The length and width can be increased or
decreased based on the space available.
NET:
Stretch the net across the center of the court dividing it
in half. The net height should be 5 feet in the center of
the net and 5 feet 1 inch at the poles (bottom setting).
NUMBER OF PLAYERS:
In a doubles match, the game is played with four total
players, two on each side of the net.
A singles match is played with one player on each side of
the net.
SERVICE:
The game should begin by tossing a coin to see which
team serves first. The side that serves first is only allowed
one serve to start the game. After the game begins, each
team is allowed two serves.
SERVICE ROTATION:
The team that serves first must serve from their right half
of the court. (see diagram below).
lN DOUBLES: The serve must alternate from the right half
court to the left half court after each serve, so no player
on the opposing team receives two consecutive serves.
Teammates must serve consecutively.
IN SINGLES: The players serve from the right half court
when their score is "0" or an even number of points.
Service is delivered from the left half court on odd
number points. If the team serving makes a fault, one
serve is lost. If the team receiving the serve makes a fault,
the team serving gets a point and continues the serve.
The serve must alternate from right and left half courts
after each serve as stated before.
THE GAME:
The game can be played to 15 or 21 points. The best two
out of three games wins the match. Teams shall change
court ends after each game.
SCORING:
Points are scored if a serve lands on the opponent’s court
without being volleyed back or if the opponent returns a
volley outside of the field of play. The player who gains the
point retains the serve until it is broken by the opponent.
SERVICE COURT ERROR:
1) A service court error has been made when a player has
served or received out of turn; or has served or received
from the wrong service court.
2) If a service court error is discovered, the error shall be
corrected and the existing score shall stand.
TAMAÑO DE LA CANCHA:
El tamaño estándar de una cancha de bádminton es de
20 pies de ancho por 44 pies de largo. La longitud y
anchura se pueden aumentar o disminuir en función del
espacio disponible.
RED:
Estire la red a través del centro de la cancha dividiéndola
por la mitad. La altura de la red debe ser de 5 pies en el
centro de la red y de 5 pies 1 pulgada en los postes (ajuste
inferior).
NÚMERO DE JUGADORES:
En los partidos de dobles hay un total de cuatro
jugadores, dos a cada lado de la red.
Un partido de individuales se juega con un jugador en
cada lado de la red.
SERVICIO:
El juego debe comenzar lanzando una moneda para ver
cuál equipo realiza el saque primero. Al lado que realize
el servicio primero sólo se le permite un saque para
iniciar el juego. Después de que comience el juego, cada
equipo tiene derecho a dos saques.
ROTACIÓN DEL SERVICIO:
El equipo que realize el servicio primero debe sacar
desde la mitad derecha de su cancha (ver el diagrama a
continuación).
PARTIDOS DOBLES: El saque se debe alternar de la mitad
derecha de la cancha a la mitad izquierda de la cancha
después de cada servicio, de manera que ningún jugador
del equipo contrario reciba dos saques consecutivos. Los
miembros del equipo deben realizar el saque de manera
consecutiva.
PARTIDOS DE INDIVIDUALES: Los jugadores sacan desde
la mitad derecha de la cancha cuando su puntuación es
"0" o un número par de puntos. El servicio se entrega
desde la mitad izquierda de la cancha cuando el número
de puntos es impar. Si el equipo que realiza el servicio
comete una falta pierde el saque. Si el equipo que recibe
el servicio comete una falta, el equipo que está sirviendo
obtiene un punto y continúa sacando. El saque se debe
alternar entre las mitades derecha e izquierda de las
canchas después de cada servicio, como se mencionó
anteriormente.
EL JUEGO:
El juego se puede jugar a 15 o 21 puntos. El ganador del
Partido es quién gana dos juegos de tres. Los equipos
deben cambiar de cancha después que termina cada
juego.
PUNTUACIÓN:
Se anotan puntos si un saque cae en la cancha del
contrario sin ser devuelto o si el contrario hace una
devolución fuera del campo de juego. El jugador que
gana el punto conserva el saque hasta que el oponente
gane el saque.
ERROR EN EL SERVICIO:
1) Se comete un error en el servicio cuando un jugador
sirve o recibe fuera de turno; o si ha servido o recibido en
la cancha de servicio incorrecta.
2) Si se descubre un error de servicio, se corregirá el error
y el marcador existente se mantiene.
