It is recommended to run the power supply cable opposite of the audio cable to avoid interference.
•
Connect the +12 V-terminal of the amplifier with the positive terminal of the car battery and
interconnect a fuse.
•
Connect the GND-terminal of the amplifier with the negative terminal of the car battery.
•
Connect the REM-terminal of the amplifier with the radio. If there is no separate output for this purpose
at your car radio use the antenna terminal.
•
Connect the speakers to the amplifier. Turn LEVEL [10] to the lowest input sensitivity. Now turn on the
radio and adjust its volume to 80%. Adjust LEVEL [10] that there is no distortion.
•
In normal connection mode, which means one speaker at every channel, the minimum impedance
should not fall short of 2
Ω
.
•
In subwoofer mode, which means the speaker outputs are bridged, the minimum impedance should not
fall short of 4
Ω
.
•
Never connect the 12 V power supply to the speaker output terminals.
Operation of 5-Channel Mode:
SPEAKER OUTPUT: Two speakers will be connected to CH1/CH2 as well as two to CG3/CH4. A subwoofer should
be connected to CH5.
X-OVER: Both frequency-separating filters will be put to flat which means that audio signals will pass through
and distributed evenly.
