Machine requirements & preparation
6.1 Side guard latch
The side guard must be elevated and latched before raising the mower into the
transport position, or when replacing blades or carrying out maintenance.
The safety latch (
A
) must be retracted in order to raise the side guard but latches
automatically when lowered.
The transport latch (
B
) is the opposite in that it latches automatically when the side
cover is raised but must be retracted in order to lower. However, once the mower is
raised fully into the transport position the latch will automatically disengage, when the
mower is lowered back down into the working position.
6.2 Blade replacement
WARNING: Ensure the tractor is shut down
Ensure that the tractor engine has been shut down, the key removed
and the brakes applied before carrying out the following procedure.
