adjusting them in or out in the slots provided. The position within the slots should be
balanced each side to keep the swath central.
The deflector plate on the rear helps control the height of the swath and the angle can
be adjusted. Once the desired setting is reached, then the eye bolts should be
tightened securely using a short lever.
8.4 Lift/lower latch (LH & RH)
The lift/lower latch must be operated when changing from transport position to working
position. Before lowering the lift ram spool, the latch cord must be pulled to release the
top hook from the pin, allowing the mower to go down. When in the working position, it
also limits the mower from being raised too high, when turning at headlands, etc. In order
to raise the mower fully back up into the transport position, the latch cord must be pulled
to release the bottom hook from the pin. Once past this point, the latch cord can be
released and the mower will latch automatically, into the top hook, when fully elevated.
Before disconnecting the mower from the tractor, always ensure the mower bed is first
lowered to the ground for stability, with the leg stands secured in the storage position.
