5.4 Making connections to the tractor
The following connections to the machine are required for attachment behind the tractor:
1.
3 x double-acting hydraulic function with float (minimum 20 l/min @ 180 bar)
2.
1 x single-acting hydraulic supply (advantageous, but not essential)
3.
12 V / 7-pin socket for lighting
4.
Pull cord(s) for lift / lower latch
Route pull cord(s) into the tractor cab. Connect the LH and RH lift ram hoses for the mower
bed (with float) and the telescopic ram hoses to a double-acting hydraulic function.
Connect the hydraulic hose (with tap) to a single (or double) acting hydraulic supply. Once
the machine is set to the working position set the required suspension pressure on the
gauge between 110 and 150 bar (typically 130 bar) and then close the tap. (This line can
now be disconnected if there are limited hydraulic connections available).
WARNING: Turn off tractor and remove key before connecting
hydraulic hosing
When connecting hydraulic hosing to the tractor, ensure that the tractor
engine is turned off and that the ignition key is removed. Ensure that all
hydraulic connections are correctly tightened.
