4. Safety Information
• Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged. First, power down the respective mains socket (e.g. via the respective
circuit breaker) and then carefully pull the mains plug from the mains socket. Do not operate the product anymore
afterwards, but take it to a specialist workshop.
• Any devices not in use must be powered down. Pull the mains plug for this.
• This product is not a toy and not suitable for children. Children cannot judge the dangers involved when handling
electrical devices. Keep children away from this device because of this.
• Do not place any containers with liquids, e.g. glasses, buckets, vases or plants in the immediate proximity of the
product. Liquids may get into the housing and impair electrical safety. This also poses great danger of fire or
potentially fatal electric shock! If this is the case, first power down the respective mains socket (e.g. switch off circuit
breaker) and then pull the mains cable from the socket. Disconnect all cables from the device. Do not operate the
product anymore afterwards, but take it to a specialist workshop.
• Do not expose the device to any high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong vibrations or heavy
mechanical stress.
• Do not place any open fire sources such as burning candles on the device or in its proximity.
• Never operate the device unattended.
• Do not use the device in a tropical climate.
• Do not leave any packing material unattended. It may become a dangerous toy for children.
• In commercial or public facilities, many laws and regulations of the employers’ liability insurance associations must
be observed for electrical systems and equipment, etc., e.g. regarding the prevention of accidents. As the operator,
you are obliged to collect information on this from the appropriate offices and authorities and you are responsible
for compliance with the applicable laws and regulations.
• If you are not sure about the correct connection or if there are any questions that are not covered by the operating
instructions, do not hesitate to contact our technical support or another specialist.
