f) Sound-to-Light Mode
• Push the button MODE (6) until Suxx is displayed (xx defines the selected sound-to-light programme).
• Set the desired sound-to-light programme with the buttons UP (8) or DOWN (9).
• The effect light is controlled via an installed microphone in time with the music in sound-to-light mode.
In this operating mode, the integrated controller generates DMX signals at the DMX OUTPUT (4) connection.
Thus, slave devices connected there can be controlled synchronously to the master device.
g) Slave Mode
• Push the button MODE (6) until SLAE is displayed.
• The effect light is controlled via the controller of the connected master device in slave mode.
Only one device in a master-slave-chain must be defined as master device. All other devices must be
defined as slave devices.
12. Handling
• Never connect the mains plug to a mains socket immediately after the device has been taken from a cold to a warm
environment. The resulting condensation may destroy the device. Allow the device to reach room temperature before
connecting it. Wait until the condensation has evaporated.
• Never pull the mains plug from the mains socket by the cable. Only pull it from the mains socket by the intended grip
areas.
• Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket if you are not using the device for an extended period of time.
• Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket during thunderstorms for reasons of safety.
• Never put any filter foils, masks or other materials over the light exit. This may cause heat damage and danger of
fire.
• The device may heat up strongly during operation. Never touch the casing during operation. Let the effect light cool
off after operation before touching or cleaning the casing.
• Do not cover the device to ensure sufficient ventilation. Air circulation also must not be impaired by any objects like
magazines, tablecloths, curtains, etc. During operation, keep a minimum distance of 0.5 m around the device.
