 Intended  Use

The laser is intended for generating laser lighting effects and is operated with the inbuilt control-

ler.
It is intended for professional use only.
This product may only be supplied with power by the enclosed mains adapter.
The safety regulations and standards for laser operation must be complied with at all times.
The product may only be used indoors, never outdoors. Contact with moisture, for example in 

bathrooms, must be avoided.
Any other use than that described above is not permitted and involves additional risks, such as 

injuries to the eyes, short circuits and

 re.

No part of the product may be modi

fi

 ed or rebuilt, and the housing must not be opened.

 Warning, this product includes a powerful laser. If the safety instructions are 

not observed, there is a high risk of injury.

   

 Read the operating instructions in full before assembling and starting opera-

tions with the laser and observe all the safety instructions included here.

Safety Instructions

  

 The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe 

these safety instructions. We do not assume any liability for any resulting 

damage.

   

 We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused 

by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions.  The 

warranty will be void in such cases.

  

 The exclamation mark symbol indicates important information in these ope-

rating instructions. Please read all the instructions before using this device; 

they contain important information on its proper operation.

  

 This symbol on the device indicates that the user should read these opera-

ting instructions prior to using the product.

 

  

 The symbol with the house is used to inform the user that the device may 

only be operated in enclosed rooms.

•   The user must comply with the relevant national accident prevention regulations of the asso-

ciation of institutions for statutory accident insurance and prevention for electrical equipment.

•   This product may only be assembled, commissioned and operated by suitably quali

fi

 ed pro-

fessionals and only in compliance with the requirements stated in this operating manual.

•  Adjustments or maintenance should only be carried out by trained professionals who are 

aware of the dangers. Improperly executed adjustments may result in dangerous laser radia-

tion.

•  For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modi

fi

 cation to the product is not 

permitted.

•   Before the product is 

fi

 rst put into operation, the operator must notify the responsible accident 

insurer and the public authority responsible for occupational health and safety (generally the 

industrial inspectorate) and name a person who will be accountable for laser safety.

•  When operating the laser equipment, always make sure that the laser beam is directed so 

that no one is in the projection area and that unintentional re

fl

 ected beams (e.g. from mirror) 

cannot be directed into areas where people are present.

•   Laser radiation can be dangerous, if the laser beam or its re

fl

 ection enters unprotected eyes. 

Therefore, before using the laser equipment, familiarise yourself with the statutory regulations 

and instructions for operating such a laser device.

•   Never look into the laser beam and never point it at persons or animals. Laser radiation may 

result in injuries to the eyes or skin.

•   Never look into the laser beam with optical instruments (such as magnifying glasses or binocu-

lars). This would increase the risk of eye injuries even more. 

•   Do not point the laser beam at mirrors or other re

fl

 ective surfaces. The uncontrolled, re

fl

 ected 

beam may strike people or animals.

•   Never allow the laser to operate unattended.
•   Limit the area of beams as far as possible by using screens or dividing walls.

•   Mark the laser area by barriers or warning signs.
•   Direct the laser beam in a way that it is not at eye level.

•   Caution: if operation settings or procedures other than those described here in these 

instructions are used, it could result in exposure to dangerous radiation.

•  This product is equipped with a Class 3R Laser. Laser signs in different languages are in-

cluded in the package. If the sign on the laser is not written in the language of your country, 

please af

fi

 x the appropriate sign onto the laser.

  Labelling at the laser outlet:

•   Never look directly into the laser beam when the device is in operation. The intense light rays 

could temporarily impair your eyesight. Moreover, they may trigger epileptic seizures for vulner-

able persons. This applies in particular to epileptics.

•   The device contains no parts that are to be serviced by the user. Therefore, do not open the 

device.

•   As power supply, only use the supplied mains adapter.
•  Only connect the mains adapter to a normal mains socket connected to the public supply. 

Before plugging in the mains adapter, check whether the voltage stated on the mains adapter 

complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.

•   Mains adapters must never be plugged in or disconnected with wet hands.
•   Never unplug the power packs from the mains socket by pulling on the cable; always use the 

grips intended for this purpose.

•   For safety reasons, always disconnect the power unit from the mains socket during thunder-

storms.

•   The device is not a toy. Children and adolescents cannot judge the dangers of electrical de-

vices and lasers.

•   Do not leave packaging materials unattended. It may become a dangerous plaything for chil-

dren.

•   Inspect the laser unit from time to time for damage. Should the laser unit or the mains adapter 

show any damage, disconnect them from the power supply (unplug the power supply unit). Do 

not use the product afterwards, but take it to a specialist workshop.

•   Never pour  liquids over electrical appliances and never leave objects 

fi

 lled with liquids (e.g. 

vases) in the vicinity of the device. You run the risk of causing a 

fi

 re or a fatal electric shock. 

If liquids enter the device, immediately disconnect it from the power supply, unplug the power 

supply unit from the mains and consult an expert.

•   Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or spraying water, strong vibrations 

or heavy mechanical stress.

•   Do not place open 

fl

 ames, such as burning candles, on or close to the device.

•   Do not leave the device in operation when it is unattended. For safety reasons, unplug the 

mains adapter from the mains socket after each operation.

•   Do not use the device in a tropical climate.
•   If in doubt about how to connect the product correctly, or should any questions arise that are 

not answered in these operating instructions, please contact our technical advisory service or 

another specialist.

•   Also observe any further safety instructions in the individual sections of this operating guide.
