Mains Connection
The mains outlets to which the effect beamer is connected must be easily accessible to
quickly separate the device from the mains voltage in case of an error.
Do not let the mains cable come into contact with other cables.
Be careful when handling the mains cables and mains connection. Mains voltage can
lead to a fatal electric shock.
Make sure that no cables lie around openly. Install cables professionally to prevent
accidents.
• Connect the mains connector to the mains POWER socket of the device.
• Put the plug of the power line into a grounded wall socket.
• As soon as the effect light is connected to the mains supply it starts operating using the mode of operation
and the DMX start address set by the DIP switches.
Maintenance
Regularly check the technical safety of the effect beamer, e.g. for damage to the mains cable or the housing.
If you have reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it immediately and
make sure it is not unintentionally operated. Pull the power plug out of the power socket!
It must be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
• the device shows visible damage
• the device no longer works
• the device has been stored for a long time under unfavourable conditions or
• after the device has been exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport
