Mains Connection
The mains socket to which the effect beamer is connected must be easily accessible to
quickly separate the device from the mains voltage in case of an error.
Do not let the mains cable come into contact with any other cables.
Be careful when handling mains cables and mains connections. Mains voltage may cause
potentially fatal electric shock.
Make sure that no cables lie around openly. Install cables professionally to prevent
accidents.
• Connect the low-voltage connector of the mains cable to the POWER mains socket of the device.
• Plug the mains plug of the mains cable into a grounded socket.
• Once the effect beamer is connected to the mains supply, it takes up operation and the operating mode and
DMX starting address set by the DIP switches is activated.
Maintenance
Regularly check the technical safety of the effect beamer, e.g. for damage to the mains cable or the casing.
If you have reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it immediately and
make sure it is not unintentionally operated. Pull the mains plug from the mains socket!
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
• the device is visibly damaged
• the device no longer works
• the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for an extended period of time or
• after exposure to extraordinary stress caused by transport
