Safety Information
In case of damage caused by non-compliance with these operating instructions, the
warranty/guarantee will expire. We do not assume any liability for consequential
damage!
Nor do we assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by
improper use or failure to observe the safety information. In such cases the guarantee/
warranty will expire!
• To ensure that the device is set up correctly, always read these operating instructions including the safety
instructions thoroughly and attentively before use.
• Check the device for damage before using it. If the device is damaged, do not operate it and consult an expert
or our service team.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversions and/or modifications to the product are not permitted.
• This device is a safety class 1 product. The voltage source must be a proper mains socket (230 V/50 Hz)
of the public mains with a protective ground contact.
• Anyone operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this effect beamer must be trained and
qualified properly and observe these operating instructions.
• Never look straight into the light source during operation. The bright light flashes may temporarily impair
your eyesight. Apart from this, epileptic fits may be triggered under certain circumstances in persons
sensitive to such lights. This particularly applies to epileptics.
• Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands. There is the risk of a potentially fatal electric shock!
• Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged. First, power down the respective mains socket (e.g. via the
respective circuit breaker) and then carefully pull the mains plug from the mains socket. Disconnect the mains
cable from the device and replace it. Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
• When installing the device, make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed or damaged by sharp edges.
• This product is not a toy and not suitable for children. Children cannot judge the dangers involved when
handling electrical devices.
• Never place containers containing liquids, e.g. glasses, buckets, vases or plants on the device or in its
vicinity. Liquids may get into the device and impair its electrical safety. This also poses great danger of
fire or potentially fatal electric shock! If this is the case, first power down the respective mains socket (e.g.
switch off circuit breaker) and then pull the mains cable from the socket. Do not operate the product anymore
afterwards, but take it to a specialist workshop.
• Do not expose the device to any high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong vibrations or heavy
mechanical stress.
