Magnet installation

1. Place the magnet onto the printed mark on the protective film

(clear) which is attached to the scuff plate.

2. Close the door with a slightly firm push.
3. Open the door, and check that the magnet is attached to the

door panel.

4. Check that the scuff plate ilumination turns on, and that it

automatically switches off after approximately 30 seconds.

5. Remove all of the backing paper from the double-sided tape on

the cover.

6. Install the cover over the magnet to secure the magnet.

7. Remove the protective film from the scuff plate.



If the magnet does not attach itself to the door panel even

when the door is closed firmly, carry out the following
procedure.



Follow the same procedure when installing to the opposite

side of the vehicle.



Be careful not to move the magnet which is attached to the

door panel when installing the cover.
