Operating Manual for FLASHMAN II
a) Stations
The list of the WLAN Stations (access points) found when an interface is
attached. If no interface is attached or no WLAN stations could be found,
*empty* is displayed here.
Choose a desired WLAN Station from the list and press 'OK' button. It will
appear in the next menu item 'SSID'
b) SSID
Here the last used or currently chosen access point is displayed
c) Key Type
Here the access password (key) for the chosen SSID can be defined. It can be
selected between
ASCII (default)
HEX
d) Key
Here access password (key) for the chosen SSID can be entered
e) Connect
Here a WLAN link can be activated or deactivated
f) DHCP
DHCP (= Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) enables FLASHMAN II to
configure its IP-settings for WLAN interface automatically with a help of a DHCP
server. To enable DHCP set this parameter to 'client'.
g) Address
- sets the IP address for the appropriate interface. (e.g. 192.168.10.50) if DHCP
is deactivated.
h) Netmask
- sets the subnet mask for the appropriate interface. (e.g. 255.255.255.0) if
DHCP is deactivated.
i) Gateway
- sets the IP address of the default network Gateway (for the appropriate
interface) if DHCP is deactivated.
j) DNS Server
- sets the IP address of the DNS (= Domain Name System) server for the
appropriate interface if DHCP is deactivated.
k) Delay
- sets the size of the receive buffer in ms.
Max. possible value 5,000 ms.
