Switch off the device and pull the
mains adapter out of the plug socket
if an error occurs during operation or
before a thunderstorm.
■
When you pull the mains adapter out
of the plug socket, always pull on the
mains adapter and never the mains
cable!
■
Never pull or carry the device by the
connecting cable.
■
Do not stand on the device so that it
is not damaged.
■
Use only original accessories so that
you do not interfere with the way the
device works and to avoid possible
damage.
■
Protect the device from heat, naked
fl ames, sub-zero temperatures, persis-
tent moisture, wet conditions, direct
sunlight and impacts.

Use only the battery type specifi ed in
the technical data.
■
Take the battery out of the remote
control when it is dead or if you will
not be using the device for a pro-
longed period. This will prevent any
damage that might occur if a battery
leaks.
■
Remove a dead battery from the
remote control immediately.
■
The battery must not be charged or
reactivated in any way, disassembled,
thrown into a fi re, immersed in liquids
or short-circuited.
INSERTING / CHANGING
THE BATTERY
The battery is secured in the
remote control when the device is
supplied: Pull the insulation strip
out of the battery compartment
of the remote control to activate
the battery.
Before inserting the battery, check wheth-
er the contacts in the remote control and
on the battery are clean, and clean them
if necessary.
1. Open the battery compartment on
the back of the remote control: Use
a coin or a similar object to twist the
battery compartment cover anticlock-
wise (open lock symbol) and take it
off.
2. If necessary remove any used battery
and insert a new battery (3 V, CR2032
button cell) into the battery com-
partment. The positive pole must be
facing upwards.
3. Insert the battery compartment cover
and twist it clockwise to fi x it (closed
lock symbol). You must feel it engage.
Replace the battery if the power of the
remote control starts to wane.
SET-UP AND CONNECtION
Please Note!

Only connect the device to a plug
socket that is properly installed and
matches the technical data of the
device. The plug socket must also be
readily accessible after connection so
that the connection to the mains can
quickly be isolated.
■
Lay the connecting cable in such
a way that it does not become
squashed or bent and does not come
into contact with hot surfaces.
