nance-free. No lubrication is needed. To clean the head and body of the

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Note that the CONAIR Body Benefits

TM

HM10C massager is a battery operat-

ed rechargeable massager. The batteries must be fully charged before initial

use, and recharged for subsequent uses in order to maintain full perfor-

mance.

Carefully unwrap the massager and transformer.

Plug the transformer cord into the small round charging receptacle in the

base of the massager handle.

Plug the supplied transformer into normal household current (120 VAC)

For best performance, a full charge of at least 12 hours is recommended.

After charging, unplug the transformer and store for future charging use.

The massager has 2 "ON" settings: Massager and Massage with Heat.

Holding the handle of the massager firmly, place the switch in the

"Massage" position.

Now massage tight and stiff muscle areas with slight pressure.

Next, try the "Massage with Heat" position. Note that the vibration speed

is reduced with the heat on.  This is normal. The heated surface of the

massager will take a few minutes to heat up.

Now apply the heat and vibration to stiff and tight muscle areas.

Never press too hard or bend the massage head excessively.

Always finish with a soft massage, with low pressure.

Since the batteries will lose some power during use, recharge the unit to

restore full power.

As with all battery products, please dispose of batteries in a safe manner

(see battery sidebar).

STORAGE

When not in use, your massager should be disconnected and stored in a

safe, dry location out of reach of children. Keep the transformer with the

massager, as you will need it to recharge the massager before using.

RECOMMENDED MASSAGING TIMES

• Generally, massage should last only 10 - 20 minutes on any muscle of

the body. Treatment may be applied once or twice daily.

• A person’s metabolism varies, so does his or her response to massage,

and you will soon adjust the time to suit your particular needs and personal

comfort. If you have any doubts regarding treatment, we recommend you

consult your physician.

HOW TO USE

1) Make sure switch is in the “off ” position and hold the main body firmly

before plugging the unit into power source.

2) Massage tight and stiff muscle areas with the speed controller in low

position. Apply little pressure at first. (The infrared is automatically “on”

when in low position.)

3) Next, after having relaxed the tight spots, set speed controller to the

high position, (the infrared goes “off” when in high position) apply more

pressure, and massage previously treated areas. Never press too hard or

bend head excessively.

4) Always finish with a soft massage, with low pressure and low speed.

5) When not in use, your massager should be disconnected and stored in

a safe, dry location, out of reach of children.
