SAFETY MEASURES
Before using the unit, please read the instruc-
tions carefully and pay attention to the illus-
trations.
• Before switching on the unit, make sure
that the voltage in your home electric net-
work corresponds to the operating voltage
of the iron.
• Power cord is equipped with a euro plug;
insert it into the outlet, with secure ground-
ing.
• In order to avoid risk of fire do not use
adapters while connecting the appliance to
the outlet.
• In order to avoid overloading of the power
network do not switch on several applianc-
es with high power consumption simultane-
ously.
• Use the iron only for the intended purposes,
specified in the instructions.
• Do not use the unit outdoors.
• Place the iron on a flat stable surface or use
the ironing board.
• Never leave the operating unit unattended.
• Always unplug the unit if you do not use it.
• When filling the tank with water always un-
plug the unit.
• Water tank should be closed during iron-
ing.
• Do not fill the water tank with scented liq-
uids, vinegar, starch solution, descaling
reagents, chemical agents etc.
• Avoid contact with hot surfaces or outgoing
steam of the iron in order to avoid getting
burns.
• Provide that the power cord is not hanging
over the edge of the ironing board and make
sure that it does not touch hot surfaces.
• Before plugging/unplugging the unit, set
the temperature control to the “min” posi-
tion, and the constant steam supply control
to the “ ” position.
• To unplug the unit always take the plug, do
not pull the power cord.
• In order to avoid electric shock do not im-
merse the unit into water or other liquids.
• Before taking the unit away for keeping,
pour out the remaining water and let the
unit cool down.
• Pour out water only after you have un-
plugged the unit.
• Do not use the unit if the plug or the power
cord is damaged or if there are other dam-
ages in the unit.
• Do not use the unit if it fell or if there any
damages or in case of leakage.
• In order to avoid electric shock do not dis-
mantle the unit yourself. If there are some
damages in the unit apply to the authorized
service center.
• Do not allow children to use the iron as a
toy.
• Keep the unit away from children and disa-
bled persons. Do not allow them to use the
unit without supervision.
• This unit is not intended for usage by chil-
dren or disabled persons unless they are
given all the necessary instructions on
safety measures and information about
danger, which can be caused by improper
usage of the unit.
• Keep the unit vertically in a dry cool place,
out of reach of children.
• The unit is intended for household usage
only.
BEFORE FIRST USAGE
• Take out the iron from the package and if
there is a protective cartoon covering on
the iron sole (12), remove it.
