Consider to different hardware architecture of SAS and SATA disk, the properly configuration of placing disks is most
important for high data availability of RAID system.
When combining SATA and SAS disks in the same enclosure, following figures will help you to plan the placement.

-Set SATA (or SAS) at the same column/row.
