Condition
Radio does
not power
ON
Radio
reception
is weak

Solution
Press and hold the PWR
(power) button for approximately
2 seconds to power the radio
on and off.
Check batteries to ensure proper
installation (using polarity diagram
embossed in radio or on pack label).
The batteries may be weak.
Replace old batteries with four(4)
fresh "AAA" or TruTalk ACC-214
rechargeable NiMH Battery Pack.
Press the UP button to increase
volume.
The receiving signal may be weak
and out of range. Press the
MONITOR button to open squelch
and hear weak signals.
Move to another location where
reception may be better / stronger.
