General instructions Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR
1. You are personally responsible for the safety
of your child at all times.
2. Never hold your child on your lap when
driving.
3. The Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR is for car use only.
4. Do not use second-hand products whose
history is unknown.
5. Replace the Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR after an
accident.
6. Read this instruction manual carefully and
keep it in the storage space under the
Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR.
Warning:
Correct fi tting of the car seat belt is
essential for the safety of your child. The car seat
belt must be installed following the red parts of
the Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR. NEVER fi t the seat belt in
a way other than described.
Warning:
Do not make any changes to the
Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR, as this could lead to unsafe
situations.
Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR in the car
1.
Use the Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR only on a
front-facing seat that is fi tted with an
automatic or static 3-point belt that has been
approved according to the ECE R16 standard
or similar. Do NOT use a 2-point belt.
2. Make sure the car seat can be installed
properly in your car before purchasing it.
3.
Always fully install the Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR
with the car seat belt, even if there is no child
in
it.
4.
Deactivate the airbag if using the MaxiCosi XR
on the front passenger seat. If this is not
possible, place the passenger seat in the
rearmost position.
5. Always install both components of the
Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR: seat + back support.
6. Make sure that fold-down rear seats are
locked into position and that the back rest of
the car seat is upright position.
