12. Place the capsule back onto the
base and check to ensure the
locking indicators have turned
green as shown in
image H
.
13. Check the angle of the capsule
once in place. Indicator on side
of the capsule must be level to
the ground as seen in
image I .
If necessary, adjust the angle
following the instruction on page
41
.
14. Pull the tether loop located in the
pocket on the rear of the canopy
out and loop it around the capsule,
ensuring there are no twists before
connecting it to the Top-Tether
adjuster strap as shown in
image J
.
15. Tighten the Top-Tether strap and
remove all slack by pulling on the
adjuster strap as shown in
image
K . Careful not to overtighten the
Top-Tether, checking that the base
is not lifted off the vehicle seat.
16. Final installation should appear as
per
image L
. If desired, the handle
can be in either of the retracted
positions during travel
NOTE: Ensure loop tether strap does not run on outside of canopy cover.
NOTE: If the car seatbelt is not long enough to secure the child restraint, do not
use seatbelt extenders.
IMPORTANT:
Always attach the top tether strap to the child restraint upper
anchorage in your car. Refer to owner’s manual.
