Connecting a Monitor
Any monitor which complies with the VGA graphics standard
can be connected to your PC. The connection socket for the
monitor is located on the rear side of your PC and is marked
with a monitor symbol.
If you use an older monitor, carefully compare the technical
data of the monitor and the graphics card.
The computer and the monitor must be switched off when
being connected, as otherwise the hardware may be dam-
aged.
Connect the plug from your monitor to the 15-pin VGA con-
nector of the graphics card of your PC.
Connect the monitor power cable to a grounded outlet.
Connecting Peripheral Devices
Don’t use force when
connecting plugs
– otherwise you may
damage the plugs or
connectors.
If the monitor is not
able to process the
frequencies from the
graphics card, it could
be destroyed!
