DEFINITION OF ADVANCED CONFIGURATION SETTINGS
Updating a particular MediaRacer® 100 unit configuration is done by defining the
parameters in the taskman.ini file.
Run the Remote Configuration Tool in order to load the TASKMAN.ini file from the
MediaRacer® 100 unit to your PC.
When the Remote Configuration Main Window appears (Fig. 5-9), in the
Local File
Name
field, enter the name of the configuration file – taskman.ini, its directory path and
folder. Alternatively, click on the Browse button, located to the right of the field, to access
the folder and select the file from the displayed list.

Configuration Updating
According to the local file name, the
Remote Field Name
field displays the name of the
file as it appears or as it will be recorded in the specific MediaRacer® 100 or from a
specific MediaRacer® 100 Unit.
Type your username and password in the
User
and
Password
fields in the same way that
they were entered during the configuration process. If there is an error in the username or
password, it will not be possible to carry out the required update.
In the
MediaRacer® IP
field, enter the IP Address of the MediaRacer® 100 unit in which
you want to update the configuration.
