Using a Maevex Decoder unit in player
mode
A Matrox Maevex decoder unit can play back video files stored on a SD card inserted in the slot of the
unit. This is referred to as
player mode
. A decoder may work in player mode in a network with
encoders and decoders in extension mode.
Before you begin
Before you power on your Maevex Decoder unit, make sure your decoder unit is properly
connected to all your audio and video devices and to your network.
