9.13 eCb belt replACeMeNt
1) Remove both shrouds as outlined in Section 9.11.
2) Loosen the 6 screws holding the ECB to the frame (Figure A).
3) Loosen the eye bolt nut that applies tension to the ECB belt (Figure B) and slide the ECB towards the back of the unit to release the ECB
belt tension.
4) Walk the belt off of the ECB pulley (Figure C).
5) Loosen the 2 eye bolts holding the center axle to the frame (Figure D).
6) Lift up on the center axle and walk the belt off of the drive pulley (Figure E).
7) This will allow you to drop the center axle out of the frame and to remove the ECB belt (Figure F).
8) Reverse Steps 1-7 to install a new ECB belt. NOTE: Tighten the replacement ECB belt to 85 ft / lbs.
9) Test the stepper for function as outlined in Section 9.22.
