1 Features

installing this pump.
This sign warns the operator that the failure to
follow an instruction may damage the pump
and/or the system.
Carefully store this manual. If problems arise,
contact the Customer Assistance Service. Please
verify that the pump has been used correctly and
that the cause of the problem is not imputable to its
operation.
Every electropump is carefully tested and packed
during its assembly.
On receiving the pump, check that the pump has
not been damaged during transportation. If the
pump is damaged, immediately inform the
dealer within 8 days from the date of purchase.
In this manual and/or on the machine the following
symbols are used:

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using the pump, always observe the
following safety instructions.

Before use check the pump for damage.
Should the pump be damaged, it must not be used.
_
Only connect the pump to an electric group which
is protected with an earth leakage switch (30 mA).
_
Do not use the pump in swimming pools or other
places where persons could find themselves in the
vicinity of the pump in the water.
_
Do not use the pump in fish ponds or fountains.
_
Never use the pump if no outlet pipe of
min. 20 cm has been fitted.
_
If the pump is used for pumping drinking
water, the installation must be rinsed thoroughly.
_
Never let the pump run dry.
_
Always remove the mains plug from the wall
socket before moving or servicing the pump.
_
Never pull an attached water hose to move
the machine.
_
If the tank leaks, switch off the machine
immediately. Have the machine repaired
by an authorised technician.
_
Make sure that the machine is switched-off
and unplugged and that the tank is pressure
free before troubleshooting or servicing,
or when the machine is not used.
_
The moist collected in the tank must be
drained. Not bleeding the tank can lead to
leakage and may cause a dangerous situation.
