INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
To comply with Sanitation requirements, this cabinet must be mounted on casters, legs (6” high min.) or the
base must be sealed to the floor. The mininum clearance alow at least 4” space between the wall and the back
of the case. This space will allow for the circulation of air behind the case which will prevent condensation on
the exterior surfaces and allow the refrigeration system to discharge air properly.
CLEANING
Clean cabinet with a mild detergent and warm water. DO NOT USE ABRASIVE CLEANERS. Glass
doors should be cleaned with a glass cleaner.
STARTING PROCEDURE
Medium Temperature Refrigerators

SMB/WMB
models are equipped with a cord and plug cap. When connected to power, the condensing unit
and evaporator fan (s) will start and the door heaters will heat.
FINAL CHECK LIST
A. Check operating pressures.
B.
Check electrical requirements of unit to supply voltage.
C.
Set temperature control for desired temperature range.
D.
Check system for proper defrost operation.
1. Verify setting of two 34 minutes defrost per 24 hours.
E.
Check system settings and operation.
F.
Check condensing unit for vibrating or rubbing tubing. Dampen and clamp as required.
G.
All valves should be completeley open counter-clockwise.
H.
Check packing nuts on all service valves.
I.
Check sight glass for proper refrigerant charge, if provided.
J.
Replace all service valve caps.
